Deep Burgundy Stretch Velvet combines a rich wine-red color with a soft plush surface and comfortable stretch. This sophisticated shade is especially beautiful for evening dresses, holiday outfits, dance costumes, fitted gowns, bodysuits, jackets, theatrical garments, and other projects where you want a luxurious fabric with strong visual depth.


Made from 92% polyester and 8% spandex, the fabric stretches to accommodate fitted silhouettes and movement. The velvet pile catches the light differently depending on direction, giving Burgundy natural highlights and shadows and making the color appear especially deep and dimensional.


Sold by the yard with a continuous cut, so multiple yards will be cut as one continuous piece whenever possible.
